Carroll along side someone like Sandro would work very well. Yes he does lack strength. But he does have a good football brain. He always wanted the ball and kept it moving. When I look at our current players I can't help but feel like they take a unneeded touch and slow the ball down too much.

And there was one comment above saying. "Well he isn't going to get in above eriksson, alli etc. Well that doesn't make him a bad player because they are top class...

Problem down here at Qpr these days is a lot of the fans don't give players even 3/4 games before they make judgement.

Football teams are built on stablity and confidence. Hence why we have been a wreck for a couple of seasons now

Always thought he was a tidy player especially at championship level. Would of loved him back here.

Big fan of Tom Carroll. Always opened himself up for a pass and found space which many other players wouldn't. His passes forced the opposition to make closing runs and open themselves up too much. Yes, he was small and possibly physically didn't suit the championship but he was a very competent footballer and that is what is important imo. You can bulk up fairly easily but what you can't do is learn vision and he had that in abundance. He understands the sport and given more opportunities, be it at Spurs or elsewhere, he would thrive.
