    Gudjohnsen

    Would they partner up again?
Without a club but looking for one - wants to play in the European finals this summer with Iceland

Your (JFH) partnership with Eidur Gudjohnsen was one of the best in Premier League history. Why did it work so well, and was he your favourite strike partner?
    Rob Stevens, Oxford
He was my favourite strike partner, yes. Eidur and I were really good friends on the pitch and really good friends off the pitch. I think the most important thing was that we wanted to play together and we wanted each other to do well. We complemented each other because certain things Eidur didn’t have, I had and vice versa. We just knew where each other was every time. We set each other up, him a little bit more than me! It just clicked. It helped that he spoke Dutch fluently too.

Although he used to be a great player we're not exactly short in the No.10 department are we?

When we played Falkirk in a pre season friendly a few years ago I met Gudjohnsen at the airport on the way home as Barcalona played Hearts the same day and I have to say what a real genuine guy he was who went out of his way with photos etc and grabbed a load of their players kit which he handed out to kids

      Top man indeed

As a striker coach? Potentially a good idea, especially with JFH's assistance. As a player? He's 37 now, and nothing like the player he once was. Fantastic talent in his prime, but definately not what we need.

This is a joke, right? The bloke is 37.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

think the question is being asked as a player Ginge. In that case, absolutely no.

But wouldn't it be a "massive gamble"?

On a more serious note; We should hire him as a coach.
