Very happy with the appointment and seems he was the best man available seeing for once we did an interview process

Warnock done an ok job but the games were not much different to what had gone before. We haven't scored in open play for 5/6 games for a start buy at least the defence looks more settled

We won't go up this season as we're clearly not on a par with the teams in the top 5 so fans shouldn't have any delusions and just give JFH a chance and let him build the club as that's the most important thing

The aim ultimately will be promotion but we need to be ready for it and if that takes a few years then so be it .

He did a better job than Ramsey and we started to climb the table, could have feasibly finished in a play-off spot. Now the new guy will have new ideas and it will probably take a few matches for the team to (re-)gel and we might drop some crucial points in the process. But of course I cannot see us getting relegated now, that fear left the building when Ramsey left it.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,

I see this when I come home from work, I'm presently very shocked and surprised because as I never thought we'd do this. This is exactly what this club needed and shows that we've learned past lessons.

Well done to the board, one very happy fan here.

He might not have got us in the play off's, we don't know?

I think the club have done the right thing here as NW didn't want it full time. Even if he did how long for?

Yeah because sneaking up via the play offs worked out of last time didn't it

Have you not learnt anything from the last few years ?

Eh? It worked, we got promoted. We just failed to survive in the PL because Redknapp lingered for half the season.

No we failed to stay up because we haven't got an infrastructure/ethos to fall back on when things go wrong and we had foundations made from sand ,the same reason we went down the time before that aswell

worst thing we could do is sneak up again as we just do all the same mistakes we're paying for now also actually going to games in the Premier league getting hammered most weeks was awful

I cannot think of a more ridiculous way to plan for the future of the club, yet several people seem happy to suggest it and will no doubt be the first to heap more unwarranted criticism on the board, should things not immediately turn to gold.

In fact, I'm getting so fed up with the constant trolling by some, that I wonder why they bother coming on here. Yes, the owners have made mistakes, big ones. So have several managers. So have several players. Not sure how incessantly banging on about the same thing is going to be in any way productive.

As for JFH, how people cannot be excited about potentially the best managerial appointment of ours this century, is simply staggering.
This. Every word of it makes sense, IMO.

Well that's the thing - getting promoted with Warnock this season would not have been sneaking up, because he is a proven part of that proper ethos that we had 5 seasons ago and squandered.

Yes it would have as we're not equipped to go up and certainly not good enough to stay there

I don't think we shouldn't use Warnocks 4 games this season to beat JFH with and lets just get behind him and see what happens

Oh but I am behind JFH and I hope he continues
the improvement that Warnock has started.
I do agree with TF and Co (surprise) on one thing:
we need to get promoted soon. We need that revenue.
