  • How long are we giving JFH?

Many wrote him off before he was hired, so I just wonder where people expect him to take us this season and how long you will give him before the JFH OUT posts start?
Personally, regardless of results and performances, I'd like him to stay til the end of the season and see where we are, EXCEPT if we're in big big trouble and facing relegation. Which I really don't think we will be. My expectation hasn't changed, I'm still ok with mid table, consolidate, then push on next season.
I say until the end of the season because Jimmy only really has the January transfer window, which is notoriously difficult to use, to bring his own players in, and we will most likely lose a couple of our better players. Also, if you look at our next 6 fixtures, that is one hell of a tough start for any new manager. I'm willing to give him the time to find his feet in this division and stabilise us as an upper mid table side, if we end up playoffs or above it's a bonus.

12 month rolling contract - this seems like a Lee Hoos thing, but probably right move for us.

No I mean how long before you will want him out if things aren't going the way you'd like?

Does anybody know what this means. Does this mean a contract for 12 months which is automatically renewed?

This season and all of the next season. If we are still in the championship next year and start badly we need to stick with him.

I 'think' the best way to look at such a deal is - 'You have a deal until told otherwise / or you want it to stop'

In this case JFH has a contract for a guaranteed 12 months which will roll over unless told otherwise or wish' to leave.

I think it means that at the moment of his sacking the payoff cannot exceed 12 months of wages?

I agree. What we need more than anything else is some stability.

I'm not, Warnock should have got it
                            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Less compensation received if he does well and a club comes in for him or less to pay out if he is sacked.
