If Piquet was in any REAL danger, he would not have done it.

He knew about it the day before (claims he didn't) and he should have told someone. His dad was gutted, that his son was a bad driver and never going to make it, so used Flavio as a scapegoat.

Funny how this only come to light after Flavio got rid of Piquet Jnr for ebing a ****e driver??

Strange point that one.The reason that Piquet crashed was to bring in the safety car so that Alonso could win his first race of the season.Apparently his seat for the floowing season was not assured....Even Felipe Massa mentioned at the time that it was a strange crash and not a normal one.Could it have been arranged long before the race? Only Flavio and Piquet know the answer to that.It could have been an instinctive call by Flavio at the time -to crash - to ensure that the safetly car came out, so that Alonso could win....If he crashed with no other cars near him - the F1 cars these days are well equiped to sustain a lot of damge but to protect the driver, so if implicated well - then maybe driver was at no risk.But the debris can was thrown onto track - even with the marshalls yellow flagging and warning other drivers to slow, could potentially have been dangerous.

Piquet was stupid. Completely stupid but, he's a young kid who was bullied into it and put his hands up.

That's an interesting point. If I had a plan to murder someone and let someone actually do the murder I believe that I would get a longer jail sentence than the murderer.
