  • Pearson's team is top of the premiership.....

As my pal points out the manager who built that Leicester team is available. But we would rather tick a box. We need someone to fit in with Les. Madness.

Top. Can you change the typo, mods. Thanks.

Rodgers might be an option, in that respect?

It really beggars belief. I wonder if we have even made contact with Pearson yet. I am going to be absolutely fuming if we don't at least interview him.

We probably have and we have hopefully figured that the media circus that envelops him is something we should start avoiding rather than encouraging at the club. Moyes and Rodgers are better, long term options.

I'm not disagreeing but another way of looking at it is when he was manager they were in the bottom 3 for most of the season and as soon as they bought someone else in they are top of the league.

Pearson would top my list of candidates though if you take Moyes out who is too big for us.

Man City have just been thumped at home by Rodgers' team too.

Ranieri is a good manager, when we took HR, wanted us to go for this guy, what people forget, he built that Chelsea team that won the first title, Cech, Drogba, Frank, Cole and a few others, he will do well at the foxes.

They were saying on Sky tonight that usually new managers go in and change everything, but Ranieri could see that what had been set up by Pearson was working, so he's changed virtually nothing - brought a couple of players in but retained the same training regimes and playing style. If we don't hire Pearson then we must be mad....but then Paul Clement was available in the Summer and we hired Ramsay instead, so we'll probably get it wrong, yet again.

Leicester were nailed on for relegation this time last season. Amazing isn't it.
