What's interesting about this thread is that so many of those who were demanding a young up and coming manager after Harry now want an experienced head in charge although JFH ticks the young up and coming box
      Exactly! Extremely fickle!

Because we have a DOF which no half decent Manager would work under.

With the set up we have at the club, last week I predicted we would get another novice. Looking that way now.

6 months coaching the mighty burton. OK, I make you right on this one.

Come on mate do a little research prior. Nice username though so refreshing to not take yourself seriously like most on here.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I like his international pedigree, and if he can get our team fit, maybe he is the solution long term.

Always loved his passion during his playing days, despite playing for that lot down the road. I'm sure we'd see the same in him as a manager.

He might not be the most experienced , but a manager who won promotion last season ain't a novice !

Can't believe some of you. One of the best up and coming managers in the football league. Gary Rowett left Burton and went into a club that's more unstable than ours and got them in the play offs as we speak. Why can't Jimmy succeed here? IF it is him he needs our 100% support.

Yep managed in Holland, L2 , & now L 1 . I'd call him a young manager ready for the next step. Not a bad appointment IMO, but what do I know !! ;)

Same people saying he is inexperienced are same people wanting Warburton who has just over 2 years of management as well.
