This a joke right?Originally posted by Kirill View PostIMHO he'd be a fool to dump Burton flying high and come over here right now. But money talks I guess, the only bargaining chip QPR seem to have nowadays.
Burton get 2k fans every week and JFH will get ten times his current salary to come to us, a side who've just dropped out the Prem choc packed with International players.
But like you said, he must be a fool for coming here.

I can see your line of thinking; if he takes them up again this year he will have his pick of jobs and not the "poisoned chalice" of qpr but in careers such as football, you need to "strike while the iron is hot" for want of a better phrase in that if Burton fall off the 2nd half of this season and then he struggles there (stranger things have happened in football) then he might not have a better offer in the future. Plus he gets to move to London and the prospect of an ambitious club...then there's the moneyOriginally posted by Kirill View PostIMHO he'd be a fool to dump Burton flying high and come over here right now. Fulham are said to be after Gary Neville cant see him being interested tho imo ,Originally posted by Jogo View PostStrange that Fulham haven't approached him.
Now not knocking Jimmy Floyd in any way but I find Neville impressive even tho he would be a complete novice he would be top draw choice but I get the impression he would want to stay up north

Another interesting thing to take note of is that before Rowlett left, Burton were going through a horrendous spell.Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostHe has to weigh up whether this chance of a bigger club coming in for him will happen again though?? QPR have come calling, a team with a premier league squad of players IMO, a lot of money and a passionate London fan base where he knows the area well. Burton may be flying high but if they don't go up and he turns this opportunity down, he will be kicking himself...
There was a documentary on Sky not long ago called, 'Burton my Barcelona' where JFH was followed about his daily business at Burton. I watched it then and was impressed with him. He basically said that Gary Rowett left a good side for him but it was a side that still needed a lot of improvement and could do more! At the time I thought that was a bold thing to say considering a small club like Burton were near the top of League 2, smashing teams every week... Since this documentary, he has got them promoted as champions from league 2 and now got them sitting at the top of League 1 - Which is remarkable in the space of 12 months! The guy must have something.
Gary Rowett left Burton when they were high flying and he hasn't done badly at Bham at all! IMO, this is an opportunity Jimmy cannot pass up.@chrisrobson9
