It's a load of ######## mate and smacks of the #### trying to find excuses.

Derby didn't rest any players and are absolutely flying. Also they had a high turnover of players in the summer so 'gelling' shouldn't be an excuse for Ramsey either.

...... If our players are 'unfit' as seems the case over the last 4 or 5 years or so, why the #### has that dude Carl Serrant still got a job? Must be the worst fitness coach of all time.

Professional footballers don't need to be rested due to not being fit enough. If they do, they should be getting fined for not being available and the fitness coach replaced.

This is just another in a long line of excuses that the modern day football manager trots out on a regular basis because they need to make some attempt at blaming someone else for their failures.

The trio that need a rest Mr Ramsey, are Henry, Toszer and Konchesky. Permanently. Only ever to be seen in a Rangers shirt again should both the proper choice for their position and the youngster that can cover for them, be out injured.
