I would say Carlton Cole and Carvalho in recently times.

I Thought Ebanks Blake would have done it even better, SpongParr.

Tommy Spurr is another one. Not sure where he is now?

Yann M'Vila isnt doing great at Sunderland
We were linked with Etiene Capoue too I think, think hes doing ok but hardly pulling up trees
Also Kurt Zouma at one stage too I believe.

Hooper and Zouma? (Really?) would have been good if we could have got at right time. 3 years on bench wont have done Hooper any good. He also would have been a great name on the shirt. (My wife noticed the hoops Hooper thing).

Yea Ebanks Blake was, at one point (maybe 2009 ish with Wolves?), a brilliant player. Then he just seem to fizzle out.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

The lad from the Super J's - Stevie May. Ted was one of many here screaming that we sign him up early last season. Went to the Wendies and went down like a lead balloon

But still it seems like we are missing a "Fox in the Box" type of player. "Adam Le fondre of Rotherham" is another player Ted wanted us to buy. He is an OK player to have in a squad, I think.
