      Gerry Francis for me. He was our last successful manager really and we haven't recovered from him leaving first time round. Was gutted when left.

            I loved Holloway's passion

            Venables for acheivement

                Based on pure ability, skill and teamwork, Sexton produced the greatest footballing side in the history of the club. If the vote was based on that he would win hands down. Let alone the fact that he took us to within a whisker of the old 1st division title, a feat no other manager has come even close to.

                            Venables - gutted when he left. Especially as he'd already turned down the jobs at Arsenal and Spurs and promised he'd stay after Gregory sold him half the club.
