do you notice how the stadiums, especially in London, start to empty with 15 minutes to go, even if the game is on a knife-edgeOriginally posted by Harryboy View PostWest hams atmosphere was no better last night. Just makes the game very boringI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Yes, it is pathetic isn't it. People are more concerned with their journey home than watching what they came out for in the first place.Originally posted by lymehoop View Postdo you notice how the stadiums, especially in London, start to empty with 15 minutes to go, even if the game is on a knife-edge

We scored plenty of goals under Harry in the champ, still one of the most boring seasons to watch by the way we played.Originally posted by CroydonCaptainJack View Post13 goals in the three home league games. Not sure how that's boring.
Did you see the first half? Christ, nothing to shout about there. Dreadful.

There used to be a time years back when the place was electric, especially evening games under the lights, for me it changed when all seaters came in, i can remember that famous game v Newcastle, 0-4 down at half time, a lot of fans walked out in disgust but a quick 2nd half goal made us vocal, the noise at 3-4 was deafening, at 5-5 our defender was going to play a back pass but the whole ground shouted at him to turn and play out, you could see the player visibly shake. Sadly for me 1 up front doesnt cut it, we should be tearing teams up with the side we have, unfortunately its all very subdued down there at the moment and the football on offer doesnt inspire.
