    I always thought the famed loftus rd 'atmosphere' a tad mythical.... It's pretty darn quiet 98% of games!

                Recent years have proved to be a nervous affair, think it shows in the atmosphere. Classic example was the game against Stoke a few seasons back, I think we scored in the last few minutes. Up until that goal it was very quiet but when the goal came it was terrific, a great release of stress.
                I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles
