    Who starts in goal?

Given Green's decision not to move on TDD, where do we go from here as regards the starting No.1? Is Green's loyalty repaid by continuing with him for the forseeable, or does Smithies take over regardless in order to avoid another McCarthy situation?

Green starts, definitely, especially given our last game we kept a clean sheet.

Green to start most of the season, smithies to take over next year if up to it.

Green has to start, but he's only one #### up from Smithies being given a chance.

If...IF we go up - would anyone be confident if Smithes is our #1?

Why not? If Mignolet can get games for Liverpool?

Nice to see your ready to jump on his case.

Havnt seen enough of smithies to judge yet.

Don't think anybody has seen enough to comment yet. I hope so, really do. Only game I've seen him play is Carlisle which was pretty pony all round so will reserve judgement.

Mignolet is capped at international level and had 3 years Prem experience previous to Liverpool so unsure of the comparison tbh...

Mignolet is also a decent keeper, nowhere near as bad as some like to make out.
