              1. Yes. More worthwhile to him to wait until the summer. (financially and prospective club)
              2. 28
              3. Possibly yes but that is the only chance we have of seeing him in hoops next season

Just like to chuck this little ingredient into the mix.
Watched the Les Ferdinand interview on player, and his comment on Charlie (Wolf of LR) was
something like "The speculation has affected him, but now the window is closed he can concentrate on his
                football...........for the next 9mths"...

                  Yes he will stay.
14 league goals by January 1st.
                  Yes he will.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

..Is what I want to read. Must admit I can't see why he or anyone else would choose to leave us if
we got back to the prem

Hope we reward him for loyalty if we do bounce right back

1, will The Wolf stay till the end of the season do you think? Yes. He's here for the duration now. He obviously wants his free agent signing bonus and fair play to him.
2, how many goals (if stays injury free) do you think he'll get?....I'm going 21...lge gls He'll probably miss a few matches for various reasons but if he plays 38 he should score 20
3 if we were to get back again would he stay with us? Tricky one! If we go up it will most likely mean he has scored a bunch of goals and somebody else will be willing to offer him a very nice deal. I hope we would be willing to match it (so long as it isn't one of the heavyweights). I'm sitting on the fence on this one but I think the odds are good.

Double his wages in 2 year contract with a £8m release clause. We get him for this season and still double the money we paid for him.
If he doesn't sign, then we know that "loyalty" = holding our for a hefty signing on fee in lieu of a transfer fee as a free transfer. A pain, but something that the Boston Rule has introduced as the right of any player.

For me yes as more money for him to make as free agent

I reckon he will get 25+ goals

Unless a top side comes in then yes but he will ensure he gets a low release clause as an escape route

Morning all. I say leave him alone now and let him do what he does best which is score goals. The bloke has made it clear last season and this that he doesn't want to sign a new one so we should respect those wishes. Him helping us to promotion is more important
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
