Third choice, surely. Behind Furlong. Wouldn't be surprised if we take Simpson on loan.

      I love Chief.

He will play out his days here and to have the likes of him and Clint around bodes well for the dressing room and the clubs future.

Can see both ending up as part of the back-room team at LR

In a good team he'll look it.

Neither is Ned at RB. But you're right; we are thin at RB.

Not Neds greatest fan but good news he has signed an ext, shows we are looking for some sort of stability.

Still think there is improvement in him though.

Only 3 players in the league have had match rating over 7 in all 5 league games this season: Luongo, Ned and Dawson. Just to say that he has shown a very good level of consistency which is what a captain needs to do.

                        Fantastic news.

Did a wonderful interview recently, saying how proud he was to be captain and how much he loved this club.

Since day one, the bloke has been thoroughly professional on the field. Speaks eloquently and is just generally an all round class act.

Had to laugh when a story appeared that he might be off to Norwich.

Thats a good point klonk, and I thought the same, as he was brought in, initially under Hughsless no doubt on hefty wages, plus Norwich apparently sniffing about, so would he of taken a drop on his previous deal? I'd of said no personally. So in answer to your question, I'd say with him being captain too, he's on a big wedge.
