There have been rumours over the past couple of days about us potentially signing Richard Dunne.

First of all, do you see this as likely? (wasn't he on big wages with you?)

And secondly, if he were to sign, would it be a decent signing for us? (i.e. does he have another good year or so left at championship level?)

There's some here that'd happily welcome him back now. Yes, I think he would be a decent signing for you. Couldn't speculate on wages though.

Great guy. You won't regret signing the Landlord. Wish we'd kept him for a year as a squad player.

If he did sign for you, i'd expect it would have to be on lower wages....which would beg the all mighty question as to why we didnt offer him 1 more year considering we hardly have any defenders!

Dunney is an excellent pro. Absolute rock both defensively and in terms of speed (as in...he's about as quick as a rock).

Good player, good pro and will do a good job at this level. Don't expect Bolt like speed or Shuster like passing from him though. No-nonsense.

I was always suprised at how quick he was, he reminded me of Donkey Kong in Mario Cart, he took a bit to get up to speed but once he was he was quick...Is it inertia? or terminal velocity? or something like that? where his weight keeps him flying along.
