    Terrible debut....end of

Both full backs were very poor, think the midfield/forwards will click with a few games but the defence is a worry.

Poor but I think overall he will be a decnt signing. Koncheski on the other hand? Short termism at its worst.

For all our new era, new philosophy bs we had a 3 35+ year olds in the back 5 with experience in perch and Onuoha alongside and another 30+ in Karl Henry just infront. Brave new world my ###.

I thought he started well. Then he let that pass from Green go under his foot second half and he went to pieces

Then he showed their bloke inside for the goal then he missed the ball completely. Has to improve quick or Furlong will get his chance sooner than he thought (not a bad thing IMO)

Koncheski has been #### for years. The only signing I see no logic in at all.

Said this about both fullbacks when we signed them. Both rubbish. Got shot down on here for it.

Apart from lugano. We signed a whole heap of dross.

Thought perch was OK but Konchesky shaky. All he done was pump the ball long up the left flank

Agree, but thought Green was at fault for the goal just as bad if not worse.

Nothing wrong with Chery, looks a class signing. Along with Gladwin these are the sorts we should be in for....... Konchesky? Just don't see it :(

Hope it was just early season rustiness but Greeno should be saving both them goals.

If we are able to escape with a much smaller FFP penalty, and get close to $15m for Charlie, we'll have enough to truly invest in another defender or two plus a striker. That could change a lot of things, especially on defense, where IMO we should throw a lot of people into the mix and see who excels. By the way, believe Furlong has been undeservedly dismissed here.

Attack is our problem. Not defence. One large untested German unit. And that's it!!!!! We could easily have won yesterday had we eleven players on the pitch and played a striker (Charlie didn't turn up). We need two strikers and a CB. We can make do with Perch and Konchesky.

If we were to go back up we would need an entirely new back 5. That's short-termism imo.
