I saw Bannister miss at the school end against West Ham I think, the ball was on the goal line, lol, great days those!

That game had a number of near misses from QPR then Dickens grabbed a late winner with what was probavly West Ham's only effort on goal.

Mackie against Swansea a couple of years ago, when we got beat 5-0 opening day.

He was no more than 2 yards out and just had to tap it in, but miskicked it. Would have made it 1-0 to us, but they went straight up the other end and scored and we went on to get a tonking.

Kind of set the tone for the season I'm afraid.

Also, remember Arsenal away in the FA Cup and Paul Parker had a free header about 5 yards out to win it in the last few minutes but put it wide!! It turned out ok in the end though cos we done them in the replay, when Sansom scored that screamer in the ####ing rain against his old boys!! Their fans were fuming with him!
