Good player for sure but not needed with the amount of CM's we have, even if you take Fer and Sandro out of that list.

We would still have Doughty, Faurlin, Luongo, Diakite, Henry, Gladwin can play there, Chery etc...

No one knows how Faurlin's knees will hold up. Fer might leave. It's still uncertain what'll happen to Sandro. Diakite might vanish again.

Would you rather we gamble on those four being in the squad for the season, or get yourself some insurance?
