Another six will come in, a goalkeeper(??), a right back(Fredericks), centre back(schorch?), defensive midfielder(Garcia?) if Sandro leaves, a left winger(??), and a striker(Gray?)if Austin leaves.

Can't see us taking £15m for Austin (more likely a bit less or spread in instalments/ performance related etc) and spending 12m of that on a striker yet to bag a single goal in the Prem. Wd love Rhodes too but he has been priced out of a move. Fans talk about him every transfer but as far as I know we have hardly ever even been linked with him.

I think rhodes is a chips and gravy man and always will stay in that part of the country anyway.

Would be nice Rickson but doesn't the signing of Perch put this one off?

Fella said were Still in for him mate. Don't think perch will just play right back. Think he will play all over the back 4 when needed. But I thought the same thing at the time

If that's the case it certainly leads weight to the argument that furlong isn't up to it

                        You need competition for places

I think that would push Furlong to far back down the order, Perch is solid, by the time he finished his contract Furlong will be more than ready.
                          Kept the faith!

Jury is still out on Furlong for me. Perch is also capable of playing in 4 or 5 different positions. With this in mind, if a decent right back is available then I believe we should sign them. As I whole, I think our defence is 3 players light!

Appreciated but perch is solid , frederiks would probably go in as number one right back so where does that leave Darnell ? Personally if we get rf in if be looking to loan out Darnell to league 1 or 2 to get some much needed experience and put in a recall clause in the event of an injury to either rf of Jp . It would give us a better player in furlong while giving him some games . Defo need at least one more quality centre back maybe two .
