Saw him a few times for boro at the end of the season last year, didn't realise he was there from Spurs on loan but he looked very good, assured and part of a very successful defencive unit in the championship.
I like that he proved last season he's capable at playing at this Level and once again les and Ramses relationship with the lad is prob the reason we will pip a list of chpionship clubs that want him.

Thank you very much !!Originally posted by geejaybee View PostSmall footnote in the People says Ramsey a big fan of 22 years old Fredericks and that Spurs want a £2m permanent deal as he enters the final year of his contract.Fulham and Forest also keen apparently.Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

Yeah as I said, some have been great, many a complete waste of time. As for the Townesend love in on the board, for me he was ok, but could've been better if he ever passed the ball. He shot from anywhere and was far too greedy.Originally posted by stanistheman View PostSome loans worked well for QPR, including Taarabt, Routledge, Walker, Townsend and Morrison.

Agree with you on that one. Most overrated player in the country imo.Originally posted by Del View PostYeah as I said, some have been great, many a complete waste of time. Haven't seen this kid play but 2M seems a little steep for a kid with little championship experience. I know Spurs don't sell them cheap but still....
Would prefer a loan with option to buy in Jan...

Completely disagree regarding Townsend.... reckon he's 1 of the most 'underrated' players in the country. Would be a starter for the national team every game if I had my way. We'd be very very lucky to have him here!!Originally posted by stationcafe View PostAgree with you on that one. Most overrated player in the country imo.

For a good price as well. Think Spurs were asking for 2 mil so I don't think this is out of question that they accepted it. Has the experience we have been crying out for and has the youth on his side. Having all young right backs duking it out for the starting position? I'd love that.Originally posted by bakes8 View PostJust seen this on the other thread. Do you know if the £1.8m was accepted.
