Surely not got a 3.5mil clause? Why has no one come in for that price? Seems impossible.

If there is a £3.5M clause in his contract the people who agreed that show that they had or have very little knowledge about how to run a club.

Sevilla just signed someone for around £8M and inserted a £21M buyout clause. QPR buy someone for around £4M and if true, insert a clause for the same or even lower fee!

Obviously Charlie & Fer start if they stay (which I doubt sadly), if Philips goes I'm assuming we'll bring in another starting winger because I don't want Mackie to be Plan A this season.

Would also like Diakite to get some game time, and Hoillet is good enough at this level if JET doesn't work out. Could also do with a new RB imo, Furlong can be cover./

I dont quite see the logic of Rob Green staying when we have the future sitting on the bench every week in McCarthy.
How many years does Green have left? And yet we are risking losing one of the best young talented keepers in the country, by leaving him on the bench over and over.

This is true mate, I expect McCarthy to be a future england goalkeeper, this subject should be a no brainer. Let's hope the club see this and keep McCarthy, no doubt we will end up with a clown as number 2

It really is a big if! At least he's been tried in these friendlies... We can only hope that he's left whatever it was behind. It would be great if he plays some games now as he's certainly got talent.
