some of this is fact, some is speculation

Luton offered him 2 year deal on reduced wages but no fee as out of contract.
We offer him new contract (on better wages) in the hope we'll get a transfer fee (albeit peanuts)
Luton get the hump, sign another RB who they believe is better (it happened)
So Harriman signs 1 year deal with us on decent wage as Luton are no longer interested.
We feel silly and loan him out.....

Luton offered him a good deal, got Russian money behind them, look at the length of contracts there handing out, bought 7 in this summer and John Still wanted Harriman.

There is no Russian money in Luton.
They wanted Harriman, but for free.
We wanted money for him (£100k, not a tenner)
          They went elsewhere.
We speculated but failed to accumulate.

The above is true, I have links with the #####s Commercial dept.

Ask yourself, why we resigned him and sent him on loan 2 weeks later and not to Italy.
We've been linked with about 4 RB's, and Furlong is above him in the pecking order.
He's gone on loan for 6 months, we've no intention of giving him a chance.

So I'd guess a hundred grand is a months or two wages, and we have just paid him twelve months worth, doesn't make sense mate

Harriman is hardly on more than 2k or so a week.

Agree Kev, but what with QPR has made sense last few years ?

                Harriman on between 2k & 3k a week. Luton won't pay 1k for a 23 year old.

Why is it so difficult to understand he's just not good enough?

Lutons best player last season tbf, they wanted him quite badly.

Not sure this loan makes too much sense unless he's backup and we have a recall clause. I suppose him getting games at Wycombe is better for us than our non-exsistant reserve games or awful EDS games if he is needed to be recalled.

So why did we give him a years contract juat last week then? Understand that?
