I know he's a legend and all that but he just talks $hit. He has attention-seeking opinions for an attention-seeking person. He just says the opposite of what everyone else is thinking. We've 'lost our way' because we are signing young and hungry players as opposed to Bosingwas and Parks.

Strange how everyone loved Rodders when he had his little spat with JB a few weeks ago.

Most people were saying that they were both gobshites but Rodney is a Rangers legend and Barton (who most certainly isn't) insulting his ability and the amount of money he earned in his playing days was classless.

buuut, while he is right in what hes saying im happy. we've gone for 'proven' and 'big name' players and it aint worked, this is the first pre season ive actually been impressed with what we are doing for a long long long time

Why's everyone so defensive, there is obviously truth in what he says. We're signing fee transfers and league 1 players.

It's not an issue of signing big names or unproven ones, it's about signing the right players at the right price. Rodney isn't implying that we should be signing 35 year old CL winners.

Anyone with a brain knew that Andy Johnson, Zamora and Park were going to be failures. And just because we're signing 23 year olds now doesn't mean they're all going to reach their supposed potential and grow into good players. Better off going somewhere in the middle...

Not myself, no. I've done the bottle & had the subsequent overflow on a drive up to Norwich though, that wasn't me proudest moment. Other strange urination location was on the platform of an underground station when I was oh so desperate. Weak bladder me.
