Said it earlier on in the thread that you don't sign players like this to aim to finish mid table.

Behind doors we are gearing up for a promotion push. In the media we are playing down expectation and spending as that takes the pressure of the squad and also trying to make clubs think we aren't spending millions and millions.

Our squad is set up for top 6 or 8 right now. If we recruit properly in next few weeks we should be able to pus on to a top 6 possibly automatic promotion push.

Given the theory is correct, maidstone_hoop: I just hope we will manage to keep the squad together even if we happen to fail at the first attempt. Surely a few of them already represents an OK resale value, but we have to be careful about how we do our business this time.

Krancjar who could barely move and O'Neil who didn't do anything of note bar get a red in the final. We have some exciting new signings, a hopefully rejuvenated Diakite, established Yun, much improved Henry, young players coming through like Doughty, Furlong, a fit Phillips who hopefully we'll retain etc etc....

So yeah, I think we've got enough to be in the mix in this division, plus we'll no doubt bring a few more in when Austin and Fer are sold.

Live a little, let your hair down and get excited about his stats, it is a risk to i admit, but sometimes you have to take risks to be happy.
