For me, the point is this is confirmation from within with the bonus of a lot of details, of what we had strongly suspected for a long time.

Can't disagree with that, Stan. Proof positive of what we knew. But him saying he's not perfect isn't sufficiently self critical of the role he played in our downfall. He hasn't stepped up to the plate since we beat Spurs at home (bar Fulham home and away) and so he bears his own culpability.

Can't believe there are still QPR fans that don't hate this cnt & make excuses for him. Even if he didn't like Redknapp , he was still the best player at the club & could have got into a sh1t team like ours & helped it if he wanted to. !

I didn't want MH sacked until the Southampton game, but looking back, we didn't realise how good Southampton where.

I DID NOT want HR at our club. Adel is a lot of things and could have conducted himself better but the man is correct!!!

Ramsey has a chance of a clean slate, if it starts badly I fear for the club, not just Ramsey keeping his job.

What a mess we got ourselves into, on a positive note. I believe Les and Ramsey will do a good job if we get the rest of the recruitment right, young hungry players!!!

The youth set up has been left to rot, HR had a great chance to rebuild the club but he was washed up and self absorbed!

I love TF but he has been replaced because he allowed himself to be mugged off by the Redknapp's, life is so strange, he actually got it right with the first appointment he made, he knew he should have backed MH and because of that error, backed HR far to long and paid the ultimate price.

Think about it. Take Rio for instance. I think it´s only tactful to say he is not fit instead of going into personal details about his wife´s illness. You cannot know what the reasons are. Sometimes it is maybe to stop unwanted attention, for the sake of both player and club. Look what happened when Harry lost it, and told the truth about Adel´s fitness(exaggerated somewhat). For me it had been better if he has just said: "No, Adel is not available for selection" or "No, Adel has a minor injury problem, and will not be in contention".

Would you rather your manager/head coach said: "No, the c@nt is fat as f@ck, and won´t play for this club because he thinks he is too good for us" or "Some of our players have disciplinary problems and do not show the management team the respect needed, therefore they are not in contention"

I think we should not wash our laundry in public, and I hope they continue to lie if there are some in-house problems with players.

Loved him but in reality didn't see enough of the magic we were spoiled with in our promotion season. I wouldn't agree with those that say he 'can't step up' as anytime I've seen him play in the PL for us he's been up there with the better performers on the day. For me it's a bad clash. Him & Harry have history, Harry wasn't prepared to instill the time and energy required for a player like that & the consequence of that is Taarabt won't pull his weight.

Neil Warnock handled him absolutely perfectly. Used his managerial nous and experience, not to mention intelligence to convince those around him that to make us a PL side we HAD to accommodate him at any cost. This meant most of the team doing the crappy work while Taarabt done his bit. Not ideal but that's what good management is.

The worse thing for me is the amount of time it's taken to get rid of him. We should of been working on a deal with him to get him sold as soon as it was clear Redknapp wasn't prepared to put up with his ways. He must of taken millions in pounds to do nothing to then walk away without the club getting a penny. That's galling

Fans such as Haven't A Clue need to move on from attacking Adel, address the comments, not the man. As Stanley and others say this is interesting because it confirms what most fans thought. It was always possible to discount fan opinion by saying "well they don't know what goes on in training." Well this interview would seem to explain what many of us saw as a lack of fitness, passion and professionalism. I remember posting pre-season last year that Harry had come across as curiously detached and disinterested in an interview and it worried me - well, with reason.

Doubt you will find many fans of Mark Hughes on here, mainly for me because some of his transfer dealings with his special agent friend were at best questionable. But clearly the professionalism in terms of training, planning etc that Hughes introduced was lost and we went backwards under Redknapp.

The important question, only covered obliquely in the Adel interview, is Ramsay/ Ferdinand - are THEY introducing more professional training/ planning or are they continuing the "take the day off" outdated and lazy Redknapp approach.

Jimmy Rabbit's got it right , IMO. Unfortunately though, the odds were never going to be high that Adel would do much of use once we installed Redcrapp. Both Adel and HR are not exactly known for their professionalism, at least to any R's supporter.

He's spot on, and yeah the club seem to be rectifying every issue brought up by Adel in that article. Still a bit p!ssed off he refused to play, I understand he hated everything that was going on at the club seeing us in freefall...but at least step in and give it a shot for us fans.

Adel is pretty much confirming what a lot of us thought for a long time. Redknapp's a fraud. The whole setup is a shambles. Sadly we haven't seemed to have learnt anything, we've just got another bunch of ex-Spurs running things now.

We should never have stripped Adel of the captaincy just to indulge Barton. Baffling that some people still want to see him as the villain.

Hughes has proven before and since he was here that he's a good manager for a club like ours, better than the vast majority of British managers.

And I've got nothing against him letting this be known publicly, it's better that the truth is put out there.

Totally agree with this -- as for Ramsey, he's yet to share with fans how he intends to run this club moving forward -- think he needs to declare, now and for all to hear, we are going to play with heart, we are going to play as a team, and there won't be another team we face thats fitter, more schooled, and more in sync. To date he's shown little of this. Time to start!
