QPR banned from signing non-EU players until Sandro case resolved

Think the normal fine is £10K per illegal that's been employed. No way Home Office can stop us employing a non-EU person..... I suspect the alleged ban relates more to stopping us using whatever special fast-track self-monitored process that allows clubs or businesses to hire folks quickly. We probably would have to go down their normal bureaucratic and paperwork heavy route that plebs have to use now. Even then, I suspect Home Office would prefer us to use their expensive fast track process so I just can't see this "ban" being real or long lasting.

QPR's Brazilian midfielder Sandro did not have a work permit last season although the club deny he has been deported.
BBC makes it sound like nothing was wrong and that we took proper cautious measures not to play him at Man City?
It really is laughable if proven true? Aren't these permits being monitored to see if players are compliant with British law? This seems like an intern's job?

Is he not entitled to assume people have done their jobs? Ridiculous to suggest a DOF should be checking peoples passports etc.Originally posted by dave58 View Postso with les being the DOF it's not up to him to know whats going on at the club?? Les has nearly been DOF as long as Sandro's been at the club
