I don't think it was a reflection on him... Had Kane, berhanio and Ings all in front of him with prem experience and we only played one up top!!

As for greengrass comment all I can see is you haven't seen him if that's your assessment. The lads top quality. Tbh we got no chance of signing him. Will go onto bigger clubs than us.

Precisely. Im not saying afobe isnt good but he is just the fashionable/talked about player this summer. Every year there is a new one. This is his 1st season where he has had a good return in goals (with only half the season spent in the championship, the other league 1) and now he is worth £10 mill plus. Give him 6 months or so and if he hasnt scored 15 goals by xmas he will be less talked about and only worth £3-5 mill. He has already spent time in the championship with Bolton, millwall, reading and sheff wed and had a pretty poor goal return but we wont mention that
