I'm looking forward to seeing us win a few matches hopefully.
We could use this as an opportunity to clear out the shite and establish a good young core, or we could cling to the past and continue down the path we've taken. Don't know where we'll end up but it'll be interesting, this season has made me kind of stoic regarding QPR.

Good post... I can't see Fer or Sandro staying but totally agree with your sentiment and share your optimism and look forward to us becoming a much better clubOriginally posted by maidstone_hoop View PostYeah the club is going to cleansed and players who actually want to be at QPR who want to achieve and succee to be brought in.
I'm extremely excited about next year. I think les and Chris will piece this club back together I. The right way and I'm not bothered of that takes 1,2 or 3 years.
However I'm optimistic as I don't think all our star players will go and we will keep a decent spine ie McCarthy, caulker, yun, Phillips and possibly for or Sandro. If we add sensibly to that lot we will have a good crack at the league next year Imo.From the Hills of Kerry
To the streets of Free Derry

What depresses me - and let me say straight away that over 50 years I've seen plenty of ups and downs and accept them as a fan of a small club - is that all the statements are just rhetoric. Strong foundations, academy, youth set up, new training ground, hungry players, lower wages, yeah, yeah, yeah. This club has forgotten how to win a match and what do we do? Recruit from within! I HOPE Ramsey is a success but so far all he has done is get a decent shift out of Matt Phillips. We still can't take a corner; we can't defend a set piece; we don't win second balls; we can't keep possession from a throw in; we can't organise the defence; no one gets up to support Austin......or whoever it will be once the season tickets are reserved; we're not professional - like knocking someone over when we're being run or sticking it in row Z with 5 mins to go and some points in the bag. Where are all these young, hungry players? This club is no Man. Utd. 1992. Is the Championship the right place for a load of youth anyway? There are some good clubs and a lot of pros who have been around in the Championship. I'm looking forward to seeing some improvement on the pitch before I'm taken in with all the talk. Some evidence that we know what we're doing. That will be the foundation I'll take seriously.Originally posted by maidstone_hoop View PostWhy though, what are they saying that doesn't give you faith?
Do you. It like the fact they are talking about putting foundations in, not overspending on wages and only going after the best up and coming players from the championship and lower leagues? What is it about that that depresses you?

It's hard to be excited right after being relegated. I'm more nervous as it could be a disaster. That said, at least we are back in a division that anybody could win, even us.
Real Football, not Money Ball. I like that.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

Don't forget actually playing a large majority of games on Saturdays at 3pm rather than bloody 12.15 on a Sunday!
But yes of course I'm looking forward to next season, cheaper season tickets, cut loose the deadweight and actually win a couple games!
