He is paid to play football and thats all that we need from him. Let him take his twitter philosophies and attention seeking elsewhere if he is not playing football.

Nobody works harder for us than Barton and Henry. If we're going to play kids we need their example. Barton appears to have grown up at last so why not? Could still do job in the Prem.

I do not want a coach who stubs out lit cigars in young players faces or perpetrates cowardly attacks on team mates from behind.

Coaches should be people who the players can look up to. Joey Barton is not such a person.
