Yawn. Thanks for being as dumb as our team today.

Ain't it just, Bakes. Still a useful distraction from the game.... My bad. But I just can't stand folk who are so blinkered. And make things up.

Nothing wrong with having opinions, we all have them, just need to accept everyone has a different one. No point rowing about it, we got enough problems without that.

Good advice. I agree. You and I managed that on the subject of Joey. That's because our opinions are based on facts.

I refer you to my original reply to your foolish post. You committed inaccuracies galore. And refuse to admit that Balottelli ran at Barton. And to even recognise that Tevez punched Barton first.

Literally everything you've posted on here about Barton hasn't had a single fact attached to it. Unless of course you think "....you'll find beyond a large number of people on here that Joey's well respected and liked in the football world." is factual.

I'm so done reasoning with the unreasonable. So, sadly, no more replies from me to you. Knock yourself out with some riposte. Maybe some one else will waste their time trying to explain to you the many errors in your billious posts. But thanks for distracting me from the s hit Ramsey served up for us today.

Barton's reaction to being sent off had little to do with Tevez incident. If he'd just walked off the pitch, it would have just been an injustice where he reacted badly but understandably perhaps to Tevez's elbow. Lots of players suffer similar, and don't then do what Barton did.

As it was he lost his temper, again, and started lashing out violently at City players (Aguero from behind, a familiar tactic from Barton tbf), and had to be dragged from the pitch. That was the reason he ended up at Marseille and frozen out by the club, because he made it impossible to be selected for half a season. He wasn't mistreated by the club, he was lucky to still have a contract.

First para is a very fair comment. Barton would agree with you. I'm not sure kicking Aguero is as familiar a tactic as you suggest, however. It weren't that much of a kick, was it. We'd have been better off with Joey that season we went down. Sending him to Siberia (OK Marseille....) was Hughesless cutting his nose off to spite his face.

He was lucky not to be sacked. Many thought he should have been at the time.

Maybe we would have been better with Barton, but because of Joey's violent tantrum, we didn't have him. Not Hughes's fault, not the club's, Joey's fault.
