  • Rodney Marsh and Barton arguing over twitter

Not sure how it started, think Rod has a go at him for this whole agent talking to Marseille situation...few tweets later and Barton is saying Rodders was only good 40 years ago, in a "walking pace" division 2...

    Another quote:
"He's a bitter man. He has had far too much to say in recent years. He is a 'QPR legend' and 70yrs old, so out of respect I'll leave him now."

    Marsh made Barton look stupid.

Seems a little incredible to me that some on here think this doughnut is vital to our chances next season. Not to mention the sheer hypocrisy of his "bad eggs" comment.

Have to agree surrey, it's not even funny.

We should've won that game at Hull if Joey hadn't have acted stupid like he did.

As I said on Twitter sadly it shows current QPR players don't understand the ethos and history of the club. Next he'll start on Stan Bowles. Lost the last shred of respect for Barton.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is booed tomorrow.

People get to emotional about this rubbish. Jb is a first class t*** and on Twitter he's a joke. But I couldn't care less. On the pitch he gives his all and quite clearly has played for the shirt this year.
If we had stayed up I would 100% agree to letting him go as he's not prem standard. But in the championship he's more than good enough and he leads the team. We have so many players out of contract or to be moved on. It's important to keep a decent spine and Joey on heavily reduced wages on a years deal would be great business whether or not he's a Twitter t*** or not.

All Rodney done was comment about Bartons agent.

His slagging off of QPR legends just shows he doesn't understand the club and its history. how on earth is he meant to lead the new generation of rangers players without that?

                  Nah thanks,

Rodney has been outspoken in the past which people didn't like, Barton has been made to look a #### and is trying desperately to save face.

believe me, Rodney was in a different league. Joey you wouldn't be in our top 40, Rodney would be in our top 5
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

barton showed himself up, when he gets bettered in an argument he always falls back on his financial wealth to back him up, kinda contradicts the socialist rhetoric he spouts .
