  • The worst thing of all...

...is the lack of all-in, blood and guts attitude from top to bottom. I would do anything for QPR to match the model for rebuilding that is today Burnley. Their fight, how they play for their manager and for each other, and most importantly how they constantly show their fans they'll go through brick walls to win for them. As bad as Redknapp shrugged off the opinions and concerns of the fans, I don't see CR as much better. Stop making excuses, stop dodging the real questions, stop playing mr nice guy to score points with players like, oh yeah, lost again, bit of a bummer, yada yada yada. THAT is the reason why they've been so horrible to watch for much of the past three seasons. No attitude, no identity, no compunction to have to shoulder the responsibility for a club that hasn't played like a club, acted like a club, or pulled together like a club. The answer?. (1) Hold a press conference -- TF, Les and the others -- to apologize to the fans, and pledge there's nothing they won't now do to make it right, the right way -- that when any player, any coach, dons the QPR colors, they're all in with drive, character and commitment. That we will no longer tolerate Adel-like attitude, Caulker-like indiscipline, or Mutch-like incompetence; (2) Get rid of ALL the deadwood, now, starting with Caulker and Sandro. The latter doesn't have the right papers to play in a relegation game?; (3) Hire a proven winner as manager, assisted by Clint Hill and CR -- the latter's a nice guy, and player-friendly, but presently WAY over his head in commanding respect, motivating better play, and rallying the fans. Today's match was an embarrassing travesty. No more excuses, no more aimless press conferences avoiding the real issues, no more ignoring the pleas of the fans who ask only that their club be full of fight, and one -- even in defeat -- they can be proud of.
