This is genuinely a problem. For whatever reason the OBZ chant really seemed to sum up that day for many of us, hence its enduring popularity. But the player is shocking - consistently awful and a hindrance to our team throughout his entire time here. Yet the chant that reminds us of our most epic moment in decades is also one that makes us look like we want that carthorse anywhere near the pitch.

Players can become artificially popular due to having a good chant. Buzaky was one (genuinely popular, but people would chant as if they wanted him to come on when really he just had a great song). SWP is another - his song was getting sung long after he lost his form (don't forget he looked ok in his first few matches for us).

And then it hurts us when we have players with no songs, or terrible songs. How do we chant for Adel to come on when the only chant we have for him makes no sense unless he's already on the pitch and firing off the nutmegs?

If we're looking for a problem chant this season, then the person who tried to start "one Tim Sherwood" at the first home game in January ought to be shot.

That apparently sparked off the brief, half-hearted "HR's blue and white army" towards the end of the game, as people wanted to drown out the muppet who liked Tactics Tim. That meant the media could frame things as 'QPR fans standing behind brave Arry', and TF thought we were with him. It bought HR a pointless month of losing games, trying to sign his mates, and practising using his walking stick.

Maybe at the next home game we should remain silent every time he touches the ball, just to make our feelings clear. Even if he scores...

So Buzsaky had a good chant therefore he could become artificially popular but he actually was popular so we might have chanted because we wanted him to come on but actually we didn't want him to come on we just liked singing his song.

Zamora is rubbish. There's no getting around that fact. People say he's there to do a target man job etc, but FFS, he's occupying a striker berth in the side so should ALSO carry a goal threat, but he doesnt.

As for being a target man anyway, he'll maybe have one effective game in 4 doing that where it will click and looks great linking with Charlie etc, however, more often than not he isnt an effective link man either. He's not good in the air as seen when he fluffs many a headed goalscoring opportunity, and his general touch is not good either.

His general lack of ability is then compounded further by his lack of fitness. The fact he always starts basically means we only have 2 subs we can call upon for tactical changes or injuries in the match, because it's inevitable that at some point after 60mins we will have to sub Zamora.

It's a joke. IF we had no alternatives then fair play, but we hvae a bloody good striker sat on the bench doing nothing and even when played he's played wide right. It's a farce. Vargas up front would terrorise defences with his pace and movement, which would also create more space for Charlie too. As it stands, defenders dont need to worry much about Zamora as he carries no threat whatsoever, so they can keep more focus on Charlie.

It's worrying our manager constantly misses whats painfully obvious.

i wouldn't mind if he was a decent target man but he's not . he constantly moans , lacks any real pace or ball control. being a trier isn't enough at this level
