He got off to a decent start there as he did at Man City. And in reality that is all that QPR need. 2 wins from his first 3 games could make a huge difference to the players' confidence.

I agree that was a huge mistake if that was Fernandes decision.
His other mistake was rushing in to appoint Ramsey after Sunderland. He should have kept looking for an alternative and see how the next 3 games went.

Can I ask, do you know for sure that Hoddle was interested? He hasn't shown much inclination to go back into management. Also, do you know for sure that he wasn't offered the job but turned it down?
