Let's not get carried away. This is a VERY hard division. Since we've been relegated from the premiership, we have been in this league for 11 seasons and our highest finish is 10th in that time, so we've not even come close to the top 6. Finishing in the top 6th would be a great achievement for us, regardless of whether we were actually to go on to the playoff final, or win it.

Only need a couple of injuries and for agyemang and e-coli to come in and we would be struggling once again. IMO Marlon King on loan for the rest of the season would get us a top 2 finish.

I don't see any reason why we can't challenge for automatic promotion. Add 3 points for our game in hand against Palace and we would sit 4th and only 3 points behind West Brom in 2nd.

We've won away at Cardiff and drawn away at Newcastle, two sides who everyone agrees will be there or there abouts at the end of the season.

Realistically to acheive an automatic spot I think we need to sign a goalscorer but who knows....this might happen in January!
