I wanted him given the lack of options. I had hoped Fernandes wouldnt gamble with Ramsey and compared the situation with that of Wolves when Mccarthy was sacked and Connor appointed.
Ramsey has made some bad team selections and substitutions which imo have been costly i.e. SWP, Hoilett, Krancjar and Zamora to start and dropping Vargas Zarate and Isla.
selecting Phillips has been successful but he should be playing on the right not left wing.

Certainty couldn't be much worse. An average team beat us convincingly today. But the majority of the posters on here must be happy though because we are playing the youth players right? Poor furlong is way out of his depth. Sorry ramsey but you got it wrong today. Swp is done as a footballer, Matt Phillips is a right winger. Furlong needs to play league 1 before he plays prem.

My one glimpse of hope of us staying up is I have always insisted that when sandro and barton play center mid together that you will see us with a pair of center mids that are good enough for the prem. Bring on the everton game.

Id rather Vargas or Zarate than Krancjar. But youdo have a point about Barton and Sandro as well as Phillips on the right with SWP binned.

Yes but they thrashed Sunderland QPR hung on to the lead and rode their luck. Villa also beat West Brom and 2 FA cup games.

Villa have a far better squad and infrastructure in place than we have so Sherwood would of just been another expensive mistake and made no difference to us IMO

People need to accept the fact its not small things like who is playing at RB or CM but the fact we have been mismanaged for 4 years off the pitch and then Redknapp put together a very lopsided squad which has been decimated by injuries and poor fitness levels

Barton vs Delph = Draw
Sandro VS Cleverley = QPR

Carles Gil, Scott Sinclar, Benteke, Agbonglahor, Nzogbia make a decent attack.

Vlaar is a better CB than we've got, Clark is ok, Okore is a physical presence.

Cleverley gets slated for passing backwards but has half a brain on him and can pick a pass. Sanchez is a decent DM. Delph is a good box to box mid.

They've got their fair share of shite but we've got such a lack of depth that a couple of injuries all but kills us.
