DIfference is english player going to english club. Austin is worth more because of the homegrown thingOriginally posted by acricketer View Post"Palermo striker Paulo Dybala, who has scored 12 goals in 25 games for the Sicilian club this season, has been valued at £28.5m by the club's president. The 21-year-old has been linked with Barcelona, Juventus, and Manchester United."
If this is a reasonable comparison we should get at least 15m for Charlie."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. for met its all about staying in the prem! If we stay I reckon he will definitely give us atleast 1 more year and sign a new contract enabling us to get a better deal.
If we are relegated and the fact he has only a year left on his contract we will be lucky to get 15 mill imo. Just hope if he goes it is to a club like Southampton where he would thrive and not to a team like palace who are now apparently linked!!

Gotta agree .....we must (the board) price him as to his worth to us, bit like Newcastle did for Carroll. No matter what division we're inOriginally posted by Shepherds Mush View PostIf Jordan Rhodes and Ross McCormack are around the £11/12m mark and Danny Welbeck is £16m then we shouldn't accept anything less than £20m.

Exactly. If we go down he still has a year and his goals are vital (like Rhodes at Blackburn). Anything less than a top dollar offer and it would be more worthwhile for us to get him to see out his contract in the Championship.Originally posted by QPRDave View PostGotta agree .....we must (the board) price him as to his worth to us, bit like Newcastle did for Carroll. Especially as he wont be going to a top 6 side (unless Saints finish there of course)

Agree about Mc corrmack and Rhodes being over priced , but imo Welbeck was an absoluteOriginally posted by Shepherds Mush View PostIf Jordan Rhodes and Ross McCormack are around the £11/12m mark and Danny Welbeck is £16m then we shouldn't accept anything less than £20m.
snip at 16m , shows the myth about LVG Welbeck or Falcoa who would've been better at Man/u
this season ?

Agree he should not be sold cheap, but we sold remy cheap, would expect in excess of £20M when you think of what some of the others in the prem cost? but knowing our club if we get relegated he'll be sold for around £12M if we stay up should not be sold to anyone other than a top 5 team

We will NOT go down.
