Sorry Nick mate but we were average again in that game on the whole. It was 2-2 with 15 minutes left and Forest had 4 fewer shots on goal than us.. We didn't play well all season last season.

The point im trying to make is a quality performance where we have entertained from start to finish and dominated.

Thought last season was dire tbh and in fact the last 4 seasons have been embarrassing at times. When i think back to the feeling of everyone with that Championship winning side and the players we had at that time then i look at the club now...something is definitely different/missing. There is a disassociation that i hear commented on by some fans and i certainly feel it myself. Is it the prem and all it brings with it? i really dont know

True say this. Loftus Road has also been exceptionally quiet this time around...

Na we were tops that day (last 15 mins ) but true it was a very even game up until we started scoring at the end. On a personal level it was just great day out.....

But back to what your getting at. Someone said it earlier in the thread, home to Middlesbrough was a very dominated game where we were really good.... This season I can actually only think of 1 game where we were truly good for our money and played like a prem side.....BUT in true Rangers fashion lost hahaha (home to Liverpool)

Cmon Kev wasnt you embarrassed by most of the last 2 Premiership campaigns? Even this season has been a bit of a let down. Someone needs to count up all the wins from our previous 3 prem campaigns. You already know my feelings on the prem Kev so i wont deliberate but it would be a whole lot nicer experience for a fan if we could actually compete in the league rather than lost the majority of game dont you agree? Just asking mate, not forcing opinion or shouting about it.

I really like the highest division mate, and we are so close to being good enough, we are just that little bit lacking in quality, as the last 2-1 defeats show. So close but yet so far. And going down and coming straight back up twice on the trot is going to be so difficult.

If we come up again, I want to come up with a young side who play proper football on the deck!

The last time i saw us batter someone (without winning) was against the Geordies under the lights at LR! Walked away from that one wondering how we never scored!!
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

Would love that too mate and for me it is more the rangers way than what we have been doing lumping it up to Bobby all game.

Fair enough Kev and you may be right that we are close and there is not a lot more to do to achieve it. Personally i think we are still 5 or 6 quality players away from a competing premiership side.

I think less injuries and a goal scoring midfielder or striker would of done it, honestly mate.

I think we may need another complete rebuild of the team if we manage to stay up and if the board are willing to finance it.
