    Food/Drink Pre-Ordering at Loftus Road

    Hi guys,

I'm Richard. CEO of ShortcutApp. I just wanted to let you know that we've begun a trial at Loftus Rd to allow people to order food and drink from their phones. This means that you can skip the queue at half-time, not have to carry cash and not miss any of the match. You can order anytime from now up to half-time and specify when you want to pick it up.

You can get a £2.50 discount on your first order using the discount code 'QPR1' and you can download the app by clicking here - http://www.shortcutapp.com/app or by searching for 'shortcutapp' in the App or Google Play Store.

It's currently available only in the Ellerslie Rd Stand but we hope to spread it out soon. I'd love to know your thoughts.

    Kind Regards,
    Richard http://www.shortcutapp.com/app

My thoughts are why do you serve one larger that is as overpriced as it is tasteless 5 miniature red wines in each stand ( normally sold out by 3.46 ) and unsinkable bitter that has less taste than the lager...

He does the app, not what they sell. £2.50 off a beer though, sounds good.

        Hi Neil,

I'm afraid that I can't help with what's on offer but will certainly feed back to the club. If you're worried about things being sold out though, then the app works perfectly for you. When you order items through the app, they are set aside so you'll definitely get exactly what you want.

        Richard

how does it work at the counter ? also, how do the staff behind know what is yours , do you have to show then the order on the phone. also , 3 g is non existant in the ground with people checking scores etc at half time so might not be able to get on the app?

We know that 3G is a problem, it's why we open up ordering now. So people can order the night before, the morning of, on their way to the game or just before kick off when signal is much better.

Once you've made your order, you'll receive a unique order code. Just show it at the counter and you'll be handed your order.

Hope that makes sense. Give it a try tomorrow and let me know how it goes!

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Actually a top idea but surely if everyone says they want there goods at half time there is still a queue waiting for them. Think the problem is more the facilities of the ground then the ides

That's a great point but because the transaction time is so much less, any line will disappear incredibly quickly.

In new ground with proper facilities and space this would be a top top introduction. Will be interesting to see how trial goes
