I thought Furlong miles better than Isla. Miles. Funny game isn't it?

Don't know if that's directed at me or not, but I'm over the moon he's been given a go and I hope he continues to play for us for years to come. Just saying Isla is the far better option imo so should be first choice, if he's injured or whatever then Furlong should play.

No, I was talking about all our new young players, and the doom and gloomers who will eventually sl#g them

I was about to mention that.

I thought he had a great game but there were a few moments where I thought his exuberance was going to get him sent off. Imagine the slating the kid would be getting on here if that had happened?

Thought the lad done brilliantly for his debut. Sometimes you can just tell straight away if a player is going to be any good and this lad if nurtured will be a start for us

Got forward done his job defensively and he got stuck in and never looked out of place. at 80mins the ball went out of play and he was bent over on his knees trying to get his breath back but to play 90mins on your debut away from home with 10men well I say well done that man long future ahead of you in the bush

how do we think this will pan out. Stick with Furlong and play Isla as an attacking wing back?
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

Massively harsh. Rio left him in the lurch with a shocking pass, then Joey needlessly flicked someone on the bellend, you can't blame Furlong!

Oh right. His clumsy touch forced Barton to aim a dig at Huddlestone? Damn he mustve had no choice in the matter. I mean after a bad touch you have to hit someone right in front of the ref right? Jesus wept...

Cant have that Kent. The boy had a blinding debut but you cant blame Rio for the pass if your going to play at this level the ball from Rio is what to expect. With more experience he probably puts in back to the keeper with first touch but that's one of the fall backs of playing kids there learning the game on the pitch in front of 25k fans

                                Brilliant display.

Calm, assured, confident. Not scared to get forward & didn't let the occasion get the better of him at all.

Got a very good player on our hands. Well done Doughty too who I thought done ok when he came on.
