All the lad needs is coaching, trust and confidence... He created the most chances in any game last night at 5.

I think some on here need to have a little more faith in the youngsters at our club... Give them a chance and realise when they haven't had a decent one yet before coating them off constantly.

I have consistently backed Phillips on here as I know what he can do when on form (he did it at Blackpool in the Premiership and won his international call up as a result).

They've gone quiet on Fer which doesn't help. He looked really good last night so it would be bad news if he's out for a while...

I've always said there's a quality player in there. It's just that he's a massive "confidence player". We would have been mad to have let him go.......

I've always stated the same.

Hoilett and Traore though....that's a different matter!
