Yes, sure - Diakite was very solid at Watford.

He looked ok when playing for us....a bit of a headless chicken but a real handful!....He had personal problems for a while which must be factored in.

Youth players are left out as any player at the club under 21 is eligible anyway. Doughty is older than that so has been given a place - will be interesting to see if he's played at any point.

You can't just leave players out because you want to leave a space. You are correct that BAE was left out of the Spurs squad, despite them only naming 23. But that was because they couldn't name any more non home grown players ( they already named 17 out of the 23).

Me too. diakite has pace and is the only one who can play box to box midfield. SWP has shown he has very little to offer when he plays.
