We now have a DOF, so it has to be a 'head coach' Clement regarded as one of the best in the world. McClaren highly regarded as a great coach. Tim, not sure if he has his badges or what? Know he done a bit at Spurs as a coach but have no idea if he is head coach material.

Edit: Just looked and he does have the relevant badges.

Not sure Clement would be suitable under the present circumstances. Assistant Manager at a team like Real Madrid and manager for a team in a dogfight for survival in the Premiership, doesn't seem to have many similiarities.

McClaren already turned down Newcastle so not sure he would be interested in coming here.

Not suitable?.. Not sure what you mean there because he is a 1st class coach so I think he is more than suitable!

He has also gone on record in May last year saying he does want to be a Number 1 somewhere... With Madrid having just won the Champs league and the league in recent years, now may be the perfect time to try it.

Agree with this. 1. Clement 2. McLaren 3. Tiger Tim.

Out of just those three i would go for Mclaren, but there's no way he would leave Derby for us. He has built a young side play good football , club has a fantastic set up , training facility prem league, ground is prem league..
This is where we need time to catch up , our ground training facility isn't even Championship really..
So out the other two id pick Sherwood , worked with Les before and has some experience in the premier league as a manager.

Clement isn't even an option, he will not leave Madrid to come and get relegated with QPR.

McClaren won't either, he is building something at Derby.

Looks like Les is lining up his old chum Timmy, but this is dangerous IMO.

A cushty little number at 1 of the biggest clubs in the world in sunny Spain OR join a roller coaster club in a relegation battle... Not a chance Clement will come here!!

Cant see Mclaren leaving especially what he's done and been through with Derby and looking like there in for promotion.

                      Tiger Tim its imho!!

Clement or McClaren. Nothing against Tim, but from what I gather he's abit old school in the way he does things. Basically a Redknapp Mark 2? Clement and McClaren both excellent coaches. Anyone got any info on Sherwoods coaching style?

I'm not so sure. At some point he's going to have to step up to the plate. I think the biggest obstacle to Clement is the thought of mindless heads of football running around and a chaotic structure. I think he'd be interested if there was even a hint of joined up thinking at LR. But there clearly isn't, so you're probably correct.

Clement for me. I guess it would be a gamble due to him not being number one before but Sherwood is hardly over qualified in that either. I really can't see McClaren leaving Derby.

Clement has previously stated he wants to be a number 1 somewhere. Where better than his father's club?
