Agree mate there were so many delusional fans who put the away form solely down to who we had faced and assumed come Burnley we were suddenly going to go from losing every away game to rolling Burnley over think it was a rude awakening for a fewOriginally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostPoint would be a start, but in my heart of hearts not enough. Burnley was the game that really showed us up for what we are, and im expecting the same again saturday as much as that hurts my head mate.

don`t want to turn this thread into something it`s not but for me it starts and finishes with the players.
Sure Harry rightly takes his fair share of the blame (they are his players, tactics, formations etc), but for 90 mins it`s all down to the players.
When was the last time we played well???
Yeah City & Liverpool were good but for me the last time we really played well was a 3 game spell against Newcastle, Wolves & Villa under Warnock 3 seasons ago.
That`s 3 seasons of poor football with no end to it in sight.
All it takes is for the players to show they give a toss, and try to win games for the fans to be right behind them.
Having said that it has the opposite effect when watching tepid negative hoofball.
We need a team with a cavalier mentality.

Why are the players under performing? Ask yourself that.. something has to be wrong... Is it the training, is it players out of position, is it players not playing for HR.. Is a lack of knowing there roles when they go out there?... All this is down to the manager to sort and manage.Originally posted by Midgeyboy View Postdon`t want to turn this thread into something it`s not but for me it starts and finishes with the players.

All of the above and then some.Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostWhy are the players under performing? Ask yourself that.. something has to be wrong... Harry isn`t the right man for the job of course but all the problems we have go back further than Harry.
Just seems to be something seriously wrong with the club, can`t really point to any player either as we seem to have a virtually new team every season.
Maybe Adel & SWP really are poison, who knows? but it`s not like the rest of the squad are being made to do something they hate is it.

Losing every away game can not be covered by simply blaming manager and players out of positionOriginally posted by Shania View PostSorry, but how excatly can players who are played out of position supposed to deliever what it takes in this League??
HR is the one to blame in my opinon.
The blame is equal in my book playing in our out of your favoured position

I personally don't think it can ever be equal.. everyone in the industry knows its the manager who gets it and too right.
I think this is a good bunch of players, if applied correctly.
The only way you ever know if it is the current managers fault or just a sh1t group of players is by changing the manager to see if another manager can get more out of them.
In this instance this is HR's team which he put together so its a lose lose for him.

Yep the second half at burnley was dire I hope they can get something at stoke but I think I have joined the negativity brigadeOriginally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostPoint would be a start, but in my heart of hearts not enough. I don't think it was just Tony's decision to keep Redknapp, it was him and the shareholders. When Hughes went if I remember rightly he said it was his decision, this time he has said on a number of times it was his and the shareholders. Amit is a good friend of the Redknapps, and I think the decision to keep him had something to do with Amit, especially as Tony is out of the country. Nobody seems to be mentioning this fact.

Good point about Amit as seen stuff with him and Jamie/Louise Redknapp out and about on holiday and such.Originally posted by jmelanie View PostI don't think it was just Tony's decision to keep Redknapp, it was him and the shareholders. I`ve said it before, that for me Bond & Jordan need to be sacked first (should have been done long ago) as these are the ones who should be training, working closely with,Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostI personally don't think it can ever be equal.. everyone in the industry knows its the manager who gets it and too right.

ironing out problems and drilling things into the players. Think of Mclaren and what an impact he had.
We all know Harry isn`t a coach, he was brought in for his contacts and player spotting abilities (Hmmmm) for transfer dealings.
Hoddle seems to have had no effect either, so bring in a young coach with a finger on the pulse of how football is now played and go from there.

Agree.. I personally think it IS the coaching and the training which is making the players under perform and enter the field of play and look like they have no idea what their jobs are.Originally posted by Midgeyboy View PostI`ve said it before, that for me Bond & Jordan need to be sacked first (should have been done long ago) as these are the ones who should be training, working closely with,

More needs to be got out of these players.. If someone could grab hold of Fer and coach him and improve him, then he could be a real asset to us.
