these 2 will go there and win them the league, yet again 2 sort after players that everybody rated and wanted to sign and they come to Rangers and the curse strikes again

McClaren will turn them into proper players, we'll stay up, they'll come up, and watch phillips and hoilett terrorise us home and away..

Selling phillips would be a joke. As has been said if we are relegated we will need him next year and he would be a big player for us. No point in panic selling now.

100% agree that McLaren is playing a blinder for Derby here, he knows phillips is talented and with a bit of coaching and faith he could be the difference in going up for them.

I just hope we loan phillips, he goes and has a good second half of the season and whether we stay up or go down he comes back to QPR next year and Harrys gone and we have coach who will invest time in our younger players.

i dont think its any co-incidence hoillet's best form for us occured while mclaren was harry's number 2.
I think mclaren is confident he can probably turn hoilett into a better player. Maybe he is right.

Apparently we have turned down loan approaches and said we will only sell.

If they get hoilett fine but if we sell phillips the toys are getting thrown out of the pram. I cant believe we would be so naïve to do this. I just hope we price him out of a move and come june when hopefully harry retires or we are relegated we will get a decent player back.

If we sell Phillips and Mutch I'll be majorly ####ed off. Dumping em for some short term loans or Peter Crouch. Palace and Derby see the potential and talent, wake up Harry FFS.

I agree Fordy. If we sold Mutch and replaced him with someone like Gestede I could probably handle it.

I just worry we will sell Mutch and replace him with Crouch or Yakubu.

Do we take maybe a ptefered option of keeping mutch who a lot think is crap (not me) keeping Hoilet who is crap or loaning out Phillips who needs game time that we cant give in his present form or ship them out to make room for older players ie Crouch who maybe can help us to stay up and buy time , not an opinion of mine just asking

We should keep phillips and give him a run in the team. Hoilett is so shot of confidence its probably best for all concerned if he moved on...which is a shame as we all had high hopes for him when he signed.

That's the gamble isn't it and its where opinions differ.

My opinion is we have two players who intergrated into the squad with a bit of faith shown by the manager could do well. Looks like we will never know. Harry looks like he wants to get rid of our youngsters and reinvest 30 plus players.

It might work, it might not. I for am certainly worried about the direction we are going in. Not doom or gloom as we are certainly still in with shout my problem is I think Harry is making it hard work like he did last year in the championship and I believe someone else in charge would be taken us in a slightly different way which would result in us staying up comfortably.

Why? He has played half a dozen games and been shocking in all of them. Wd you drop Vargas who has been one of the few semi bright sparks in our season just to give him a "run of games"? Don't get why Philips is suddenly seen as the new messiah. Thought he was pretty average for us in the championship too. Its Jamie Mackie re-visited...
