as a kid the fa cup was a magical experience and something fans really looked forward to....over the last decade or so qprfc imho have disrespected not only the compeatitions but disgracefully those fans who paid good money to go along to watch nothing short of pathetic performances!...unless the club addresses this situation i urge all fans to boycott any cup match home or away in the foreseeable future!

I was there ed,beautiful moment!! Bush wealdstone is up the road from me,always been a naughty lot.Got to Wembley once against a Somerset team .the carry on was unbelievable, local lads turning out for the tear up.tis what makes a cup game special!!

i remember wealdstone coming to ours in the 70's-thousands of them.my ol man took me to orient in those days-think it was o-o, load of rangers fighting in the home end. used to be a bit of magic surrounding the cups.

Beat Wealdstone 4-0. Then WHU 6-1 in a replay. Then it took Forest, running away with the league, three games to knock us out. Now that was a cup run. And we stayed up by the skin of our teeth that season.

Also at highbury-still have the programme and ticket in me loft. Dont remember anything about the wealdstone game apart from them having loads and a tear up on bloemfontaine rd.

We played them at wealdstone in the late 70,s or early 80,s Bush.took my brother to arsenal for the semi in 82.he ended up a gooner,remember picking up the fruit and veg off a stall and throwing it at the tashed up Jean jacket wearing baggie shlaggs

Great days van-used to have a silk scarf round my wrist and was normally armed with a packet of hubba bubba and a can of rwhites. Just read a bit on the w.stone forum and they reckon 50 of them took the loft!!
Never forget the semi final-ended up carrying my ol man out of the park royal hotel at half two in the morning into a taxi-he was proper steaming.

Every season when we get knocked out the cups in early stages, you always get fed the bulls*it that the league is more important.
I wouldn't mind getting knocked out the cups if it did help us escape a relegation battle, but it doesn't seem to.
We get knocked out by lower clubs, yet still don't concentrate on the League.

We are in a small minority in caring about the Cups facto. Very sad as they are realistically our only chance of silverware. But fans these days don't seem to care about winning anything, just so long as they dine at the same table as the mighty Manchester United and Arsenal and Chelsea.

Wasnt long ago the cup was our only chance of ever playing them. Would you like those days back then?
