Is that a serious post? Of course you can. The board have a long term plan, part of which has been communicated to us, and have been very active in making a start on delivering it. In the meantime they have fully backed two experienced and well respected managers. What more is it you want from them?

Sure, I'll just spend days collating all of the information for the sake of one post. On second thoughts, maybe not. Take my word for it, there is a correlation between the two.Originally posted by 1QPRDK View PostAnd to be perfectly honest I cannot see how this can be held against him or be a bad thing for QPR? Why shouldn´t he want to reassure stakeholders when things are not running as they should. Seems only natural IMO.
Actually it could be quite interesting to see if you are right. Could you e.g. make a timeline with league position and PR exercises plotted in?

Of course they have changed. From a business owner's perspective the way we communicate with clients has changed massively over the last 10-15 years. Why should football be any different? If anything all the more reason for club's to be engaging more with fans. If other Chairmen choose not to move with the times that is entirely their decision. TF has.Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostThey haven't changed though. The best owners in football today still stick to the principles I described before. When was the last time Huw Jenkins or Peter Coates "tweeted" their teams fans?

Is that a serious response? You're prepared to congratulate TF's ownership on the basis of a training ground and stadium that don't even exist yet?!Originally posted by FurtiveFox View PostIs that a serious post? Most (far more successful) charimen than TF have chosen not to "move with the times." That should tell you a lot. Owners did run football clubs successfully before the internet you know.Originally posted by FurtiveFox View PostOf course they have changed. "PR Bullsh*t" isn't an insult either - sounds like you've got an agenda? If you read all of the comments, you should know the true score.Originally posted by Stanley View PostThat wasnt the full quote.Last edited by surrey_hoop; 22-01-2015, 12:58 PM.

Once again, QPRDave merely said:Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostEnlighten me then - what insult did I post exactly?
To which you replied:Originally posted by QPRDaveSee Kev's request to not sl*g-off our chairman just couldn't be managed ....
So, taken in context:Originally posted by surrey_hoopIf you want to kiss his ar*e, you're more than welcome to. Some of us however are perceptive enough to see through the PR bullsh*t.
Kissing ar$e may be an expression but still pretty rude, followed by your second sentence which you imply he's lacking the intelligence to be perceptive enough.
He then reacted angrily which I accept lacked restraint but I was just pointing out that it was you who started it.

You mean swore and offered me out. I'm sure much worse has been posted on here without illiciting such a repsonse. Perception is not indicative of a lack of intelligence either, and I was implying no such thing.Originally posted by Stanley View PostOnce again, QPRDave merely said:

As most of us know by now, QPRDave is a very passionate R who's bark is often much worse than his bite towards his fellow fans. I wouldn't take that too seriously.Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostYou mean swore and offered me out. I'm sure much worse has been posted on here without illiciting such a repsonse.
Fine and pleased to hear it but that implication can easily come across as words on a screen, unless you make it clear, especially in the context of your full quote.Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostPerception is not indicative of a lack of intelligence either, and I was implying no such thing.

It was serious enough to be deleted by admin. Anyway, I know now for next time. I'm sure with my "negative" views on the club it won't be the last time I encounter it.Originally posted by Stanley View PostAs most of us know by now, QPRDave is a very passionate R who's bark is often much worse than his bite towards his fellow fans. As did he delete the whole set of posts from both sides. Anyway, glad it's sorted now and looking forward to getting this thread back on topic.Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostIt was serious enough to be deleted by admin.
