OK you doubt my statement why we would get rid (explained here) then you self make a statement that we aren't going to get Howe. Your statement is a pure speculation just like mine. You put forward some reasons why he would not come. I can put forward some reasons why he would want to come. His value today is tops meaning he could get top salaries else. If offered by QPR why not. Something made Hughes and Redknapp willing to come here.
I would love Eddie Howe to come here don't get me wrong. Everyone's statements are speculation aren't they though?

If only it were that simple!!

Not sure how Howe would work with the ego'd old timers we have in our squad though i.e. the Bartons, Rios, Zamoras, Dunne's.

If we want to do things correctly and planning for the future there is no better man than Eddie Howe. He has no ego and will run things his own way, salaries will come down all round and he knows players well from lower leagues.

If we drop down we have a much better chance of coming back up under him without spending millions.

He is my No.1 choice and I'd do whatever it takes to get him here. I'd let Eddie get rid of the ego's and let him shatter them.

Exactly why we need a young successful young manager - all of those mentioned out of contract in the summer

Sherwood had a 50% win ratio at Spurs last season....better than Redknapp, albeit from a much smaller sample size.
The main reason Hoddle has been out of management for so long is through personal choice. He was totally focused and dedicated to the academy he set up. I am sure he had plenty of offers in that time especially early on and turned them down. Since then people have probably mostly thought he's not interested.

Sherwood's brief tenure as manager means very little. As for win % lets not avoid the fact he was working with a squad full of excellent players and he basically got Spurs performing as they should've been nothing more. Also in games against decent sides, he more often than not got serioulsy found out.

                      Perfect fit for QPR.

Not sure QPR is the perfect fit for Eddie Howe though, that's the problem.

Eddie Howes profile is as high as it's going to be why would he come here ?, if we managed to scrape past the drop it wouldn't improve , if as expected we go down so would his profile something he doesn't need on his cv

Exactly because his profile is tops - now he will get his best offer - most people would jump at it - why shouldn't he.

Is everyone banging on about Eddie Howe conveniently forgetting his time as Burnley Manager, which wasnt very good at all....? Granted he's been superb for Bournemouth but the Burnley experience shows he's not a guarantee of success either.

How many years' management experience has Sherwood got? Apart from this win ratio you mention, what "success" has Sherwood had?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Hoddle left the game under something of a cloud, failing pretty miserably at Wolves. I'm sure he had offers (although possibly not as many as you might imagine) in that time......from clubs he considered beneath him. If he had been offered a job by a PL side, he would've taken it. No-one manager turns down a top tie job, even to start up an academy.

As regards Sherwood's record at Spurs - it is what it is. I wouldn't read too much into it, but I wouldn't use it as a form of absurd criticism either (i.e. "he basically got Spurs performing as they should've been, nothing more.") Isn't that what we want - a manager who can get the players performing as they should be? At the moment most of them are some way off even that.
